Whimsical is a big keyword for 2012 brides, and with the right combination of a talented photographer, some beautiful, delicate props and of course a couple that’s mad about each other, it can all come together so beautifully, as this marvellous French wedding testifies. Aurélie and Sylvain’s vintage-fete style big day was a triumph of craftiness and quirky vintage whimsy, incorporating such varied props as gorgeous bird cages, a bouquet of fresh peonies, pastel balloons, and candy-cane lollipops.
Elisabeth Perotin, lady behind the camera hails from Reims, near Paris. “Auréile and Sylvain made an awesome couple, that was a real pleasure to photograph them!” Auréile wore a 20′s style dress made by “Lili M”, and Vivienne Westwood shoes.
Check out the very bottom photograph, so simply done with a stone wall and some heart-shaped post-it notes, but so magical and romantic.
